Stronger Than Yesterday Advocacy LLC founded in 2023 by Kiesha Katsares, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with the aim of providing healthcare advocacy services for people with spinal cord injury related conditions. Our mission is to help people with chronic spinal cord injuries navigate our complex healthcare system to find solutions to their functional decline. We will empower our clients by providing them with the information, resources, and support they need to make informed decisions about their healthcare and lead fulfilling lives. We provide a variety of services aimed at assisting patients and their families in navigating the intricate healthcare system and obtaining the necessary resources. We recognize that living with a spinal cord injury is a distinct experience that most healthcare providers are not trained in. Therefore, we offer telehealth consultations with our licensed nurse practitioner to address any urgent or ongoing healthcare needs. Our nurse practitioner will not only act as an advocate for you but also collaborate with your medical team, offer education and awareness about potential solutions, and coordinate the necessary next steps to enhance your level of function.
